They are so excited! It is right in the community where they wanted to be, two minutes from the school that Raine will attend, and eight minutes to work for Courtney! The house is lovely has a lovely treed yard with room for a garden and bonfires and it also has a pool and a gorgeous deck! It will be so much fun for them to get moved in and arrange things as they like it and more than enough summer left to enjoy their yard and pool!
Courtney asked me to make this card to give to their real estate agent who was instrumental in them purchasing this house.
I knew that I wanted to use the Dandelion Wishes and I knew that I wanted a long, narrow card. However, because I also wanted to use Blueberry Bushel to make an envelope with the Envelope Punch Board, I was limited to using an 8.5 x 11" paper. With the aid of the WRMK's Envelope Generator iPhone app, I was able to choose a card that was 6.25 x 3.5".
I cut the card base and a matte from Blueberry Bushel as well as a piece for my envelope. I cut another matte from Silver Glimmer paper. Using Versamark, I stamped the grouping of dandelions twice on the matte and then heat embossed using a mixture of both Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and the now retired Silver Glitter.
While I had my stamps out, I stamped a matte for the inside using Blueberry Bushel, stamping off once. I used the same stamp to stamp the outside of my envelope. I used the Detailed Trio Punch to punch the flap of the envelope.
The sentiment from the Enjoy Life stamp set was also stamped and embossed on Blueberry Bushel. It was cut out using the Tailored Tag Punch. The stamped matte and sentiment then had their edges sponged with Blueberry Bushel ink.
The mattes and sentiment were all adhered to the card front using Dimensionals. The two inside mattes were adhered with Fast Fuse.
These stamps are beautiful . . . I think they'll be getting a workout!
